The Conference has established the ‘Outstanding Young Scholar Award’ and the ‘Outstanding Young Scientist Award’ for participants aged 40 or under. Each session is invited to nominate outstanding young scholars from among the participants and submit the ‘Nomination Form’ (available on the Conference website under ‘Downloads’ – ‘Outstanding Young Scholar Nomination Form’) to the Conference Organising Committee by 10 April. The Organising Committee will determine the recipients of the “National Metamaterials Conference Outstanding Young Scholar Award” and, from among them, select no more than six recipients of the “National Metamaterials Conference Outstanding Young Scientist Award”. Previous recipients of the Outstanding Young Scholar Award who meet the age criteria may continue to be considered for the Outstanding Young Scientist Award; they must complete a new “Recommendation Form” and submit it to the Organising Committee. A separate postgraduate forum will not be held at this conference; postgraduate students may deliver “flash academic” oral presentations or present posters at the various thematic sessions.
